SKIPPACK, Pa. (CBS) — A Montgomery County man who went missing while returning from his college in Rhode Island last week has been found.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, 21-year-old Matthew Royer has been located unharmed and has been reunited with his family.
In a news release sent out by the Pennsylvania State Police, the family asked that where Royer was found not be revealed and that the family considers this a private and closed matter.
The matter is considered closed by the Pennsylvania State Police.
Royer left the University of Rhode Island on May 16th, heading back to his family’s home in Skippack, Pa.
His mother, Janet Royer, made an emotional plea Monday outside State Police Barracks Skippack. (See Related Story)
The saga ended Thursday when the Pennsylvania State Police announced that he was found safe.
